Bullshit Bingo for boring meetings

Do you find yourself falling asleep at every conference or meeting you attend? Do the speeches, in these meetings, sound like bullshit to you? Then, Bullshit Bingo is probably what you have been looking for. .

Bullshit Bingo is a game where participants each possess a card with a predetermined number of words that they needs to be ticked off as and when they are uttered during a speech or meeting. Once a participant gets a set of number of words in a row or column, he or she is supposed to shout “Bullshit!”

Bullshit Bingo is a fun exciting game that you can be played, either alone or with your colleagues, to speed up those boring staff meetings and conference calls. All you have to do is either print or prepare your Bullshit Bingo card before your seminar or conference. Make sure you have five columns- 5 down and 5 across. Each block will have one of the following words:

Once you have your card with you and have seated yourself in your meeting, listen for the words listed above. Every time you hear one of these phrases or words, cross off the corresponding box on your bingo card. Once you get five blocks either vertically, diagonally or horizontally, get up and shout “Bullshit!”

You can also play Bullshit bingo with multiple players. In such cases, you can improvise and include more phrases and terms. Here are some suggestions:

Make sure each player has a bingo card with different arrangement and combination of the phrases and terms.

The most enjoyable part of the game is the point where you actually get to shout “Bullshit!” Undoubtedly, such behaviour during a speech or meeting could result in dire consequences with the management. Therefore, an adapted version of the game would be to silently look at one another and mouth the word “Bullshit” without making any sound. This silent statement is actually just an agreement that the speaker is speaking in a language that has little value. This concept was popularized in 1994 by a Dilbert comic strip.
